Ties in football

If a game ends in a tie score the following rules will be applied:

  • Moneyline bets will have no action and stakes will be refunded
  • Point spreads will have action
  • Totals will have action

For example, if a game ends with a score of 31-31, any wagers on the favorite minus 3 points will be graded as losses, while any wagers on the underdog plus 3 will be winners. Suppose the total line on the game was 48.5, all bets on the over will be winners and bets on the under will lose. And every wager made on the moneyline will be no action.

NOTE: These rules apply to NFL and CFL only. NCAA Football and Arena Football games cannot end in ties and play will continue until a winner has been determined.
